Broad Street Presbyterian Church and Urban Launch School Join Forces to Support King Lincoln-Bronzeville Entrepreneurs in 12-Week Cohort

This collaboration aims to foster the entrepreneurial spirit within the King Lincoln-Bronzeville community by sponsoring five local entrepreneurs to participate in the Urban Launch School's 12-week accelerator program.
Building on the success of its comprehensive educational approach, Urban Launch School's upcoming cohort offers an unparalleled opportunity for aspiring business leaders in the King Lincoln-Bronzeville area. With a commitment to blending entrepreneurial education with financial literacy, wellness, and cultural competence, the program is designed to guide participants from ideation to launch, focusing on urban and black communities.
LoLo, the Executive Director of Urban Launch School, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "We are thrilled to collaborate with Broad Street Presbyterian Church in this endeavor. Their support enables us to extend our reach within the King Lincoln-Bronzeville community, empowering local entrepreneurs to turn their innovative ideas into sustainable businesses."
The program promises a unique learning experience that integrates key aspects of business development with a culturally competent and wellness-oriented approach. Participants will be offered the chance to receive micro-grants and business services valued at over $35,000, along with continued support through post-program partnerships and placements.
Broad Street Presbyterian Church's sponsorship covers the application fees along with program costs for five entrepreneurs from the King Lincoln-Bronzeville area, demonstrating their commitment to nurturing local talent and supporting community growth.
